This place was great. Dont know what these others are saying bout it being dirty, it looks fine. They must have had a clean up. Lovely, friendly, very helpful volunteers who took the time to rumage through their stock to find me a book that I saw a while ago and forgot to come back for. As charity shops go I would recomend it.

There are a lot of charity shops to choose from in Birkenhead, which is great for a number of reasons! Not only are there a lot of charities that are being helped on a daily basis, but there are also a lot of places to pick up cheap clothes and books! I would recommend this shop over the likes of Oxfam, as they often have quite a lot of good stuff at reasonable prices, whereas I think that the likes of Oxfam mark stuff up a little bit too much these days. Cerebral Palsy is a terrible thing, and I think it’s great that every time you buy from this shop you are supporting research and treatment for this condition! They have a range of items for sale including books, CD’s, DVD’s, clothes, ornaments and computer games!

Scope is a really well run charity shop in the centre of Birkenhead’s shopping precinct. It helps people with cerebral palsy which I think is a great cause. This particular store has a beautiful layout and draws in customers with an elaborate window display. They always have tastefully dressed mannequins to attract passers-by. And drawn in, I was! What struck me most about this particular charity shop is how well cared for it is. Most stores of this ilk can be a little run down, but this one is organised to perfection! With rows of dresses, suits and accessories, I was spoilt for choice with charity offerings. A great store for an awesome cause.
