Though they have a large selection of fresh and tinned ingredients for Asian, Indian and Thai dishes, the reason I’d go back to International Food Stores is for their excellent selection of Morrocan produce. We’re talking mouth-watering cous cous, preserved lemons, beautiful olives, awesome apricots, great pistachio nuts and melt — in — your — mouth tagine sauces and spices.

I’m really intrigued by International Food Stores at the moment as my palette for foreign cuisine is becoming more expansive. From Moroccan to Thai foods, I’m indulging in all sorts of new things! This particular one does not disappoint. With a range of all different goodies I was in ‘unusual’ food heaven(well, out-of-the-ordinary for me). I’ve started putting sweet chilli sauce on literally everything I consume and am re-discovering my taste buds. Prices are low and staff are friendly. The store is also very well organised into different sections and is therefore easy to navigate. My experience in there was a very pleasant one indeed. I’ll definitely be visiting again next time I want to stock up on some more interesting cuisine.
