Fabulous little shop with some of the nicest staff in Birkenhead. My daughter had emailed asking if they could pierce someone in a wheelchair, as the studio is upstairs. Ronnie replied to the email very quickly. She remembered her from the email immediately. Between the 3 of us we had a tragus, navel and nose piercing all done virtually painlessly. Ronnie is lovely and knowledgeable and I would easily recommend this shop and Ronnie. The prices are good and it’s very clean.

Beyond is one of them places that bring back an awful lot of memories for me about growing up near a rundown shopping area and having nothing to do! It was the cool shop where as a young teenager you would go and marvel at their collection of all things psychedelic. With shelves lined with bongs, papers, incense sticks, ashtrays and pipes. and even a piercing parlour upstairs, this was the coolest shop on Earth. Indeed. I’m sure it still is to a handful of people. It was the first taste of an alternative shop that I ever got my senses around, moving over to Liverpool made me see new head shops and now I wouldn’t rate Beyond as one of the best. The service was very good and personable and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The piercings were clean and good. I got both my eyebrows pierced here long before I realised that eyebrow piercings are hideous and they grow and leave scars! Lesson learnt!

Beyond is an incredibly quirky shop in the centre of BIrkenhead’s shopping centre. Their psychadelic sign is representative of their colourful range of stock. From incense to transfer tattoos, you can get everything to satisfy your hippy needs here. I thought the shop was pretty interesting and abstract but I’m not really into candles and such-like so it didn’t appeal to me. Out of interest I checked out their website which is broadly advertised on the window, and it seems that they specialise more in selling legal highs. Seriously not into that but if you are then check it out.

Beyond is an independent shop in Grange Shopping Centre in Birkenhead that sells all kinds of interesting Wicca items like incense, Tarrot cards, and so on, as well as body jewellery, interesting earrings, wood beads, Tibetan silver charms, and much more. Despite not being into Wicca(aside from being an adoring fan of the TV show Charmed), I love poking around in shops like this. They are so intriguing, and they generally smell really good due to the incense, candles, and other smelly things for sale. And this particular shop plays funky music. I like shops that don’t settle for the normal radio stations, or the most popular CD’s. The music should add to the ambiance and flavour of the shop. And this music does just that.

Friendly shop opposite lloyds tsb bank. Stocks piercing jewellery, hair dyes, earrings, jewellery, wood carvings, artwork, tshirts, candles, bongs and pipeslots of things. As this is a review of the shop i wont mention the piercing studio upstairs. I have given it 4⁄5 stars, I marked it down a star because i dont like the orange walls.

Grungy shop on the outskirts of the shopping centre. It stocks earrings, nose studs, belly button rings and more. Reasonable prices and advice on hand. Also does piercings at the studio upstairs. Please please visit the shop beforehand if you intend do go ahead with a piercing, its not the cleanest and I would recommend somewhere else.
