The Travellers Home in Bexleyheath is great. Or at least, it’s always been great for me; on a Sunday, when that moment has hit when we’re like«oh crap, we haven’t eaten in like 8 hours!». The story is always the same; we dash off to The Travellers, moan about how busy it looks with the cars practically crashed into each other in the parking space. We get inside and I get woefully depressed at how we’re not going to get a table for at least nine weeks. We’re never waiting long though; and then it’s down to basically ordering whichever food will come the quickest. What specifically is on the menu doesn’t come to mind right now but, y’know, it has the usual stuff; steak, chicken, chips, blah blah, you know. Pub food. But it’s good. A nice traditional English pub meal, what more could you want?. It’s also marvellouslessly cheap here, which is the best thing for me. Not that I’ve ever actually paid for anything here; it’s near my Aunts house and I’m pretty sure my meals have always been taken care of by the family, with me reaching for my wallet slightly too late and feigning disappointment as they settle the bill. A great little pub, does everything it says on the… y’know, the what-you-expect-from-a-pub place, wherever that might be.
