This traditional fish and chip shop goes back a long way. Is slightly overpriced however the food is nice. It is good for children but in a more controlled environment. The staff are friendly there too. I would highly recommend it.

This place will always have a special place in my heart after I went in as a teenager and asked them to batter a variety of chocolate bars because I was curious(and apparently wildly unhealthy). It’s a reasonable price, they serve a beautiful chocolate fudge cake if you eat in and basically, it does what it says on the tin. Unlike other fish and chip shops, they let you have chip forks for free and as much salt and vinegar as you want, all in a polystyrene container — a real novelty after living in a town which serves chips in a newspaper cone for the past five years. The chips are absolutely amazing, the fish is always crispy and the staff really friendly and accommodating(see battered chocolate). Bexleyheath wouldn’t be the same without it.

Very nice chip shop, chips are thick cut and fluffy in the inside, portion sizes are small for the price, they are placed into trays, which most of the time fall out, the fish, savaloy etc is tasty. Service is quick, seating is available inside, but its always busy as its very popular. Highly Recommended for takeout and sitting outside watching the world go by…

Bexleyheath would not be Bexleyheath without Tom Bell’s Fish & Chips. It has been a fixture in the town for years and provides the best lunches in town by a mile. The quality is excellent, chips how they should be, golden, crispy and fluffy on the inside. They also can’t beaten on price. Many of the lunchtime meal deals are under £2, much better value for money than the regular fast food chains around town. Service is quick and you even have the option of staying in and eating at a table. On sunny days it is nice to sit on one of the benches outside near the fountain and peoplewatch. If you’re peckish in Bexleyheath then try Tom Bell’s. You’ll forget that McDonald’s even exists.
