Good beer (one of the few local pubs to keep Harveys); good food, good company. This is a proper pub, and there aren’t many of those in Bexhill. The welcome’s always warm and whether it’s a lunchtime drink in friendly surroundings you’re after, or something a bit special for an evening meal, you will not be disappointed. Cheers!

My wife Nicky and I have always regarded the Denbigh as the best pub in Sussex. Shaun and Mindy however have now brought the pub to a higher level with undoubtably the best food, beers and wines. You are always assured of a warm welcome from the staff and the friendly regulars in a very relaxing and beautifully appointed bar and restaurant.
The Gourmet and national theme food evenings are great fun too.

If I still lived in Bexhill (no offence but thank God I don’t!!!)The Denbigh would still be my second home. A great, friendly pub with a good restaurant (lots of fish straight off the trawlers on Bexhill and Hastings seafronts) I’ve been going here man and boy since 1990.
The beer is always well conditioned and regular’s are Harveys, Bombadier and other top ales.
Landlady Mindy does front of house and her husband Shaun is the chef –you’re always guaranteed a warm welcome.
Oh and if you spot my Dad, John tell him dinner’s on the table, he’s the bald chap nursing a pint of Harveys.
