Staff here are very good and the seating area upstairs has a great view over the square.
That said I am only giving this a 3 star review as it is still a national coffee shop that feels like a national coffee shop and you get a better personal touch at local independent tea rooms like Poppy Seed.

Well, it’s a Caffe Nero so if you’ve ever been to one you’ll know what it’s like. When you first enter the premises, it looks small and poky but there’s plenty of seating upstairs and there’s a courtyard out the back. If you are pushchair-​laden the courtyard can be accessed from Dyer Lane.
The main reason for five stars is that the staff are friendly and helpful above and beyond the call of duty, even when hungover. It’s recommended for that reason alone
