When I lived just off the main Stranmillis Road, it could be said that my friends and I were responsible for most of this Takeaways turn over. Although I’d say this was mostly down to it being 3 minutes away from our front door, rather than its food. In saying that, it’s not as if the food is all that bad. It has the same generic menu that most Chinese Takeaways adhere to here, making most of their money from chips covered in one sauce or another. When you dared go off the beaten track of Curry chips, the food is hit and miss. My favourite Chinese food is Kung Po chicken(which I will use as a measure on all Chinese food related reviews, because I’m determined to bring the people of Unilocal the best Kung Po in all of Sunny Belfast) and every time I have ordered it(which is quite a few), I never really got the same dish. Yea the chicken was there, the sauce was there, but the vegetables changed constantly, mostly undercooked and sometimes were not there at all. Three stars could almost be put down to my own nostalgia, rather than the takeaway.
