Have been to the Royal Bar on 2 occasions now and think it is great.
First visit was when Hearts played Glentorangreat pints of Harp, good bunch ol locals and really friendly helpful staffwe even left a Hearts scarf to be added to the collect adourning the walls.
Second visit a few weeks backhad to check our scarf was still thereand it wasstaff remembered us and yet again were friendly and welcoming.
The pub is really near KFC also which is a real bonus for the post pub munchies!
