Peanuts

We called in here after an exciting but soaking day of karting. We got straight of the train and came in here. It was about 6pm on a Saturday evening.
The menu is pretty simple and reasonably priced. I ordered the burrito bowl with chicken. The portions where big and you really get your money’s worth.
My only criticism was that my friends couldn’t order what they wanted as there was no ribs or beef left. They opted for a pulled pork burger instead.
The food was good and despite there being man behind the counter and 9 people ordering at the same time, he done good in getting orders out.
Overall the food was good and the service was just alright. Not a place I will be hurrying back to, but satisfied the need to eat.

A guy I can only imagine was the owner was running round the place barking orders at a young staff who seemed to need a cattle prod to get motivated. The place smelt strongly of grease and I was not disappointed. Ordered what was quaintly called a lasanya on the menu. After waiting 15 mins I got what I asked for, some sort of mutation of a lasagne. The mince was clearly from the burrito tray and a sheet of lasagne was thrown in. The cheese was mozzarella and not even close melting when it arrived. I suppose the mince would need to be warm for that to happen. There were others waiting a long time for a burrito and the owner appeared to be training all the staff on the job. The best thing had to be getting served the meal on a baking tray with grease proof paper as my food’s only defence from the tray. On the plus side, the «fries» were nice.
