Great clothes store in connswater shopping centre. Peacocks sell a wide range of women’s, men’s and kids clothes. They also sell shoes, underwear and now jewellery also sell a small range of make up and gifts. There are 3 changing rooms in this store, they are quite roomy too. Peacocks clothes are now made by the Edinburgh woollen mill. Also you can shop online on peacocks website.

Every so often find something in Peacocks that I’ll end up wearing for years afterwards. It could be a jacket, a shirt or maybe something knitted. Most of time there’s quite a lot of rubbish in here, but then sooner or later it’ll come up trumps when you’re in a hurry and need a belt or a bathing costume, or something. So I always check in here regularly, it’s cheap, trendy, sometimes a bit tacky but any disappointment is always cancelled out by the latest lucky find.

This is a great wee shop where you can often find bargain buys for brilliant prices. They stock fashionable, trendy clothing but you don’t have to pay ott prices for looking good. There are a number of branches of this store in Northern Ireland, this one in Belfast, the branch in Carrick, Westwood Centre, Ballyclare, City Park Retail and Connswater. It is a popular store for teens and mums alike as they sell up to date trendy clothing for all ages. Students receive 10% off which is an added bonus for all those skint kids needing good value for money which Peacocks definitely provides. This shop is a sort of up market Primark which is popular with men/women/boys and girls.

I hate to admit this but I recently bought a pair of girls shoes from Peacocks, now I know what your thinking, why? But let me explain, they were not 6 inch red high heels, they were in fact just plain white plimsolls. The reason I bought them was that they were in my size and they were only £4. The looked pretty unisex too. If you can find me a pair of gutties for £4 anywhere else I will gladly buy them. Peacocks also has a mans section but to be honest I can not say I have ever purchased anything from this section but it seems a bit like a Primark type store with cheap t-shirts and straight legged jeans. The fact that I was able to get plimsolls for £4 pretty much sums up Peacocks. Oh and the staff didn’t even mention that they were girls shoes so that was comforting.
