Lagan is a 3 story house and you’re pretty much paying for a bedroom in the house. You have free use of the kitchen, living room, wifi and all the amenities of staying over at someone’s home.(don’t be mistaken: no one really lives here other than the guests) The Host is a south african by the name of William, he’s quite friendly and stuck around to give us an orientation of Belfast before he let us wander off on our own. He went as far as calling a cab for us for a black cab tour. Parking is fairly easy, you park on the street and there are no rules as to when, who or how long you can park. So if you hired/rented a car, you can dump it on Balfour Ave and just take the bus/cab around town. Neighborhood is a residential street, quiet and safe. If you have a GPS/Sat-Nav, keep an eye out for the address because it’s not obvious that this is a hostel OHDON’T FORGET! The Shower in the bathroom is a little tricky! When you walk in, there’s a string dangling from the wall to your left. THAT is what turns on the shower, so pull it!
