Benny’s Cafe & Sandwich Bar

One of my fave places if I’m indulging in a lunchtime treat … You can ring and preorder if you are short on time, which is fantastic !
My fave things are the chicken bites with chips cheese and coleslaw and the champ is second to none :)

Food was tasty. I loved the chicken fillet burger and they do really nice sandwiches with loads of fresh fillings. Great spot to catch a spot of breakfast or lunch! Bennys also has very reasonable prices on its food.

I have just left this place highly disappointed & angry. I went in before 11:30am & ordered a cup of tea & a fry up. I had my tea brought over right away but then I sat there & waited, & waited, & waited. As I sat there many customers came & went with their takeaways & many others sat & had their meals brought to them. I got more & more impatient to the point it would have been clearly visible to people. After about an hour I got up, walked over, paid for my tea & left.
Such a disappointing experience, which is extra disappointing to me because I honestly rated Benny’s as the best fry up in Belfast. However, I am so pissed off that I will never be back through their doors.
I would rate it minus 5 stars if I could.

Going in here makes me think of my Dad, I think he is their best customer! It’s a teeny tiny little establishment that pretty much looks like an old shop from the front, but makes up sandwiches, baps, rolls, baguettes, and does some gorgeous hot soups for it’s customers. It’s closest to the dock area, but also benefits from the many businesses and corporate firms that rent office space on the nearby Clarendon Dock. They do traditional, straightforward, stonking great sandwhiches, with good Belfast Bread too — you can get a big bap with corned beef salad, or Egg and Onion, or Roast Chicken. My mouth is watering… sorry. Really simple, no frills, just a deli counter and a big queue — great for a good big lunch when you couldn’t be bothered making it yourself.
