My mother and I called in for coffee today, we ordered coffees, pastry and a chicken wrap, we waited for the chicken wrap for over twenty minutes, finished our coffees and my pastry, the waitress mentioned the wrap wasn't ready as there were no salad leaves and that they were waiting for them !!!!!!!!!! We couldn't believe it ! We waited far to long ! Decided to ask for a refund for the chicken wrap ! The waitress was pure rude and no apology given ! We then proceeded to another cafe and had a beautiful chicken wrap.!!!!

There must be 8(no exaggeration) coffee shops/cafés in a mile stretch on the Lisburn Road and they all have their little things that make them what they are. Bedeck’s little thing is that it is joint on to a home décor/gift shop. I think Bedeck started off as a gift shop with a small café but now it seems that the hop plays second fiddle to the popular café. The décor of the café is great — the shop front is all glass so there’s a lot of natural light beaming in which makes it a nice working environment, if the Wi-Fi was better. The Wi-Fi was so poor in fact that I cut my visit short but not before I had eaten. I ordered a Bacon and Chili Jam wrap, which was delightful, the wrap was packed to the brim and served with a side salad and some homemade coleslaw. They had a few different warps on the menu but that one took my fancy. I don’t think Bedeck Café is the type of place you’ll get a stodgy lunch; it’s more of a quick snack stop. Good news is they make a mean coffee and if you order an Americano like I did expect it to be served up in a huge bowl style mug. I liked Bedeck but it didn’t have the wow factor — I think the awful Wi-Fi put me off slightly.

First of all, I’m writing a review for the café! It’s another good spot on Lisburn Road! Has good coffee, a nice atmosphere, lovely staff, free WiFi and happy hour! Their coffee is good, nothing impressive but good! I did not get a chance to sample any of their food so far but I heard that everything is really yummy! The place is white, simple and bright! Has a relaxed atmosphere! Just how I like it! The staff as I said were lovely and friendly and happy to bring your coffee to your table when ready. So I will be back to try some of their food, drink my flat white while uploading the pictures on the social networks with their free WiFi! Ahh please don’t forget the happy hour: 3−4pm, 2 coffees for the price of 1. Can’t get better than this!

Yip, another ultra cool, ultra stylish and ultra smooth home wares shop. This one really stocks some of the most gorgeous pieces I’ve seen about the place with prices to match the uniqueness of the goods. There are three levels with bedlinen and accessories upstairs and more of a designer kitchen and general gorgeousness downstairs. The middle floor is home to vases, mirrors and other household goodies. It’s a very inviting shop and I could spend hours looking around and dreaming. I’m not really into knickknacks but if i were or I needed a gift for a friend I’d go downstairs in here — expensive but classy. The shop itself is spacious, bright and welcoming and as long as you have money in your pocket you could pick up some really lovely pieces to add to your home.

There is an impressive selection of quality bedlinen here mainly by Designer’s Guild and Sanderson so inevitably Bedeck is an expensive option. However, it’s a lovely bright shop, even in the downstairs basement, to look around with plenty of inspiration to make me bestow more imagination and attention upon my own home furnishings. To their credit the staff were pleasant and friendly with out pouncing too much. Other stock is by Cath Kidston and there is a range of fabric pattern books which admittedly I didn’t have enough time to examine properly should you wish to contemplate a purchase down that particular soft furnishing route.

I adore specialist homeware shops and Bedeck is right up there with the best of them! The stuff truly is out of this world and it’s a great place to go to get that unique piece for your home or to get a great gift for someone. The shop is expensive but it is the Lisburn road! The stuff is certainly worth it! They offer everything from candles, cushions, lamps, pictures, nursery stuff and soft furnishings. I love coming in here just for ideas and to pretend I can afford the stuff!

Bedeck is an awesome place to go for the most modern furniture you can think of. Some of this stuff is just spectacular. I would be quite ok with just moving into the shop, never mind kitting out my own home with its contents! The prices are a little steep, but after all this is some proper designer kit we’re dealing with and if you have the cash and want the best looking place possible, look no further.

There’s some really gorgeous stuff in this shop, but it won’t come cheap! The stock is stylish, modern and in places, downright beautiful. Brands like Sanderson can be found, along with home-grown, Northern Irish designs in bed linen. I’d be lying if I said my house was decked out in Bedeck, but I’m telling the truth when I say I’d quite like it to be!

Oooh, this place is stunning. The homeware ain’t cheap(it’s the Lisburn Road after all) but it’s downright dazzling. The ‘upstairs’ level(which is the initial area you see coming through the door… all will be explained) contains bedroom accessories(mainly bedlinen), as well as a jewellery selection, but it was the basement that really had me enthralled. Lying at the back of the shop is a staircase which leads to the lower level. Very innovative. Down these stairs I was greeted by beautiful cards, cute kitchen accessories, co-ordinated homeware(vases, dining ware and the like), colourful towels, spectacular photo-frames…the list goes on. There is also have a fabulous array of Cath Kidson accessories — everything from towels and bathrobes to scented drawer liners and handcream. During my nosey around, my sister had spotted the kid’s toy section(and she just turned 18… bless her) and laughed at the fact that she had come across a rabbit called Jojo(which we lovingly call her). Upon further inspection, we noticed that these beautiful toys were of the Moulin Roty variety, a French toy brand. Ooh la la indeed. This really just emphasised the high quality of everything in the shop for me. I selected a lovely, unique card from the ample variety available, delighting in the fact that I had made a purchase from this charmingly elegant shop. It’s definitely one of those ones you need to see for yourself. Undoubtedly.

I always feel I have to walk gracefully in Bedeck as it is such a beautiful shop. Am I weird? I think I know the answer. So anyway, I glide about Bedeck when I need something like a housewarming gift or a cheer myself up gift. I also have to be feeling flush as Bedeck is not a cheap place to shop. But the stock is just so darn lovely. Bedeck is all about tasteful interiors. As well as offering a bespoke interior design service, they also sell all manner of what I call trinkets for your home — candle holders, vases, wine glasses, photo frames, lamps and artificial flowers. They sell lots of things from a home accessories company called SIA which I am just mad about. Everything on offer is totally upmarket and totally fab — lots of glass and crisp cotton and the kind of napkin rings which will transform your next dinner party. Well I believe it anyway. Downstairs is home to the most beautiful bedding for adults and kids — Designers Guild and Sanderson so we’re talking pricey here. Mind you, my younger child has Designers Guild bed linen(does he appreciate it? He’s 6, what do you think?) which I snaffled in Bedeck at 70% off which made it affordable and the quality is amazing. Speaking of kids, it’s probably best that you visit Bedeck without yours if you have any of the little blighters. Otherwise you will be a frazzled wreck. Or £50 worse off when you pay for something that has been broken,
