Spend & Save

Spend and Save is a brilliant bargain store. It sells a huge range of very cheap products such as household cleaning products, cards, birdseed, childrens toys, paper, pegs, tubs and plant pots — basically anything you could imagine. The shop is very higgledy piggledy and it takes a bit of rooting around before you find what you are looking for. There is always lots of products stacked and lots of them dumped around the entrance which you have to step around!
The staff are active, pleasant and talkative. There are usually two helping at the till. They pack your product in a bag for you and always have a friendly natter.
Spend and Save is always my first choice if I need something. I can bet my bottom dollar I will find it here and at half the price of anywhere else in Bedlington.
The store has had some opening times issues since the large Tesco store opened up next door to them. I hope they survive the regeneration of the Market Place.
