I used to regularly use this Post Office to send various packages off to eBay winners and the like when I lived in Oldfield Park. It’s heaps better than the massive, computerised offering in the centre of town, however it’s just open until 12.30 on a Saturday, so if you work nine to five, then you only have a small window of time in which to utilise it. It’s only a small place, with nothing else but a few gift cards and some items of stationary on offer besides the usual postal services. Nonetheless, it can get surprisingly busy, especially at lunchtimes, so plan your visit accordingly in order to avoid the queues.

use this for renewing car tax and passports, and staff have been informative, friendly and helpful each time. Whoever does their training should be congratulated. It made a lovely change compared to most encounters with customer service staff recently. well done

This post office is a mess! It’s tiny, and the stock is always all over the shop, even sometimes on the floor. When it is busy they are obviously bogged down, I have many a time had to queue on the street outside for a good few minutes before it has gone down enough to get through the door, and even inside it’s such a squeeze that no one would want to look at the things on the shelves for fear of being crushed!
I have been over or under charged on a few occasions and the staff never seem particularly interested to help you, once they wouldnt even lend me a pen to write an address on an envelope I has just bought.

Biggest Post Office in the Huddersfield town area. It’s much smaller inside that you would expect, so sometimes it get very crowded, especially at lunchtime.
It’s open every day between 9:00 and 17:30. The service is good, and the staff is helpful. What I like is that you can not only buy stamps, but also top-​up your mobile and buy a few simple items. There is a phone box in front of the Post Office if your battery is dead and you need to make a call.
Sometimes the Post Office is closed during lunch for mysterious reasons, then I recommend you pop down to The Media Centre anbd get your mail franked.

With Post Offices a dying breed, I pray they don’t close this one. Its always busy, well laid out, friendly staff and a good range of post related items (tape, pens, envelopes etc).
You are able to process you car tax here too.
Great location, in the busy Moorland Road, the main shopping area for Oldfield Park.

This is the post office nearest the train station and located at the sorting office, it is open until 6pm and although looks a little run down is fully functional & the staff are friendly.
