This is a rather fun little store on the little island of shops down Bath’s main drag — it’s the first one you come to when walking down from Waterstones, if that helps. It sells a range of whacky and colourful things from bags and odd bits of clothing to stationary and umbrellas. In fact, it’s one of those perfect places to get something for a birthday present, as all the stuff is fairly unique to this store, as far as I can tell, and it’s always quite fun to play with or look at. The young staff let you browse to your heart’s content — always a bonus nowadays — and are on hand with help picking out the perfect gift if you need it.

Octopus is like no other shop you have ever been in. They sell the most bizarre and funky things. Jewlery made from grass, vases made from rubber, bags made from rubbish, and lots lots more. If you’re looking for a gift, you can pretty much find something to fit anyone in Octopus.
They are also particualrly good with stock and returns, for example, we bought a toaster from there last christmas, and it had broken recently, we returned it without a receipt and they took it back instantly, saying that there had been trouble with the toasters and so they were no longer selling them, so we got a credit note, or offered our money back (even without our reciept).

A shop that sells everything but in a weird and wacky way.
You can buy salad servers, sugar shakers, pens, jewelry, tables, chairs, trays, tweezers, scissors and loads more. Too much stuff to list. But they come in great colours and designs. A one of a kind shop! spectacular!
Absolutely worth a visit! Its great.
