Kip McGrath offers professional tuition for students of all ages in our dedicated tuition centre. We can help your child with any aspect of maths and English, with study programmes that can address the following: spelling, reading, comprehension, writing, early reading and all areas of maths.

The Kip McGrath resources have been tried and tested over the last 30 years, and we concentrate on making lessons stimulating by combining resources on worksheet, mp3 files and our superb new online system called ‘Insight’. After a FREE assessment we develop a personalised programme that is perfectly matched to your child’s abilities.

All of our teachers are fully qualified and experienced and we are Ofsted registered, meaning that the cost of tuition can be reduced with childcare vouchers or working tax credits.

Business Owner

I am an experienced secondary English teacher and GCSE examiner who taught at Kip McGrath for 4 years before taking over the business. I really love my job because it enables me to share those ‘eureka’ moments with many students each week as they make breakthroughs in understanding that may not be possible in a class of 30.

Like all our staff I hold a degree and a PGCE, as well as an MA and further qualifications in dyslexia teaching. Amongst our team we have primary specialists, a secondary maths specialist (including A-​level), a further English specialist and an expert in early years education, so you know that your child’s learning is in safe hands at Kip McGrath. All of our staff hold full CRB disclosures and we are Ofsted registered for early years provision through to secondary.
