This is a fairly basic café that sells good coffee and a small selection of cakes, biscuits and quite a lot of hot food. The place feels very airy and open.
In the summer there is ample seating outside — both covered and under the trees. Unfortunately the smokers have taken over the best bit under the trees, but it is tucked round the corner, so they aren’t as anti-​social as usual.
There are public loos attached to the café, and it’s set in a beautiful park with loads of trees and flowers. Ample parking and very nice staff.
They lose a point for not having skimmed milk, but the hot chocolate was decadently lovely!

We love stopping in here for a cooked breakfast at the weekend. Great breakfast, nice park, water outside for the dogs … would highly recommend !
