Proper fish and chips in a traditional surrounding. The fish was fresh and the chips were hand cut. What else to say? simple food is often the best (when executed properly of course)

Does exactly what it says on the tin, or at least on the sign outside, its a traditional fish and chip shop, with a good range of fish and other fried foods. Batter on the cod is good, also offers free range chicken due to influence of St Hugh of Fearnley-​Witingstall on Axminister generally. You won’t want to go here if you are on a healthy eating régime, but as chippies go its a good one.
