Specialties
A traditional community pub offering excellently kept award winning ales, good quality freshly prepared food, exclusive wines & attentive service from friendly staff. We are cask-marque accredited and the manager, Paul, holds Master Cellarman status.
History
Established in 2000.
Fullers acquired the property from Courage at the end of the millenium. Seeing it as a worthwile investment they added the Fullers touch and set about making the pub the best in the locality. Over the course of the next 12 years with substantial investment at the time of the introduction of the smoking ban, and of course with Paul, the current manager at the helm, have succeeded in putting The Cambridge Arms on the map as one of the best pubs in Bristol. Job done.
Meet the Manager
Paul F.
Manager
General manager Paul Fickling has been running The Cambridge Arms for 6 ½ years and has been with Fullers for 11 years. Taking over the Cambridge in the summer of 2006 was challenging but after an amazing refurb in Sept 2007, the pub was transformed and has gone from strength to strength under his management. Paul has improved all aspects of the business during his time, becoming Master Cellarman in the process, returning the pub to its former glory and is now the proud manager of one of the best places to eat & drink in the area.
