Despite the name, they also have minature donkey and Soay sheep. The petting park has Apacas. There’s a café too. They have falcons, hawks, and owls from around the world… but not in the petting park. This is a bird of prey conservation education centre.

This owl sanctuary is set deep in the wonderful randalstown forrest. The sanctuary offers guided tours and talks for children and it is possible to see the owls in their natural settings. The staff are all really well informed and are willing to answer any questions. The sanctuary has lots of open days as well where special events happen.

This is a wonderful spot for a day out so much to see and do, the owls are amazing and the displays of the birds of prey is very impressive. they now also have an insect world indoors and a lama in the paddock. Parking is right on site and its set in the middle of Randalstown Forest

In the middle of Randalstown Forest this is a beautiful sanctuary and they do a fantastic job with all the birds and animals. It really is a must see if you are in the area. They have all sorts of species of birds, and some other animals donkey, lama, rabbits and some insect etc too. A real worthy cause to go and see and donate to! All the staff are really friendly and happy to come and talk to you and tell you about the birds etc. I try to get a visit there at least once a year! Fantastic!

Good for a one off visit, insect part is very good and being based in the forest you can go on walks along the paths. DO NOT leave valuables in your car
