St. Andrews, Tichborne

This is an 11^th Century church and is beautifully situated on the top of a hill overlooking the village of Tichborne. The chapel is very small and even has a small Catholic chantry at the side. It carries the stories of the Tichbornes in the memorial plaques around the church. The ancient old boxed pews are still used to help keep the chill off!!! It is a retreat for many a walker and our family have had a few weddings and funerals in here You will find a millennium book inside the church which gives great details of the village history and the people who still live hereIf only those walls could talk! Idyllic! They still have services here which keeps it alive
