Alderley Bar & Grill

The Alderley Bar and Grill is part of the same chain as the Restaurant Bar and Grill in the city centre and the menu is very similar. We ate here on a Saturday night and really enjoyed it. The place is really light and inviting inside. I like the look of the pine tables and smart furnishings. The service was friendly and very efficient. We were seated in a very comfy leather booth and were shown the extensive if a little pricey menu. I ordered the prawn tempura to start which was extremely good, the prawns were massive, the sweet chilli dip divine and the batter light but at £9 for a starter I would expect nothing less than perfection. For main I had the smoked haddock risotto with poached egg which was cooked perfectly and full of flavour.
I feel that the Alderley Bar and Grill is perfect for a special occasion but is just too pricey for a normal night out unless of course you are a footballer or one of the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Wanted to try this place as many people recommend it… Wasn’t that impressed. It was ok… But nothing special. We were sat near the bar serving ‘hatch’ and if the server had spoken to me the way he was speaking to his colleagues… Well…

Came here for pre-​dinner drinks on Friday. Busy place and food looked good, so if we hadn’t have booked elsewhere I would have been happy to try it out. The wine was decent and the restaurant was clean, buzzy and a good place to be.

This restaurant has a winning formula: Modern, attractive décor and good food at reasonable prices.
Shame that it’s packed to the rafters with wannabees, poseurs and gold diggers!

Excellent restaurant, menu the same as The Restaurant Bar and Grill in Manchester. Lots to choose from on the menu and they always have specials. Good seating area outside where you can people watch.
