History

Established in 1996.

For much of the last decade, we had observed consumers given a limited choice of eateries on 2 sides of a spectrum with little or no catering for ‘contemporary casual dining’ Clearly this was a time for change, hence Café Spice Airdrie was formed, where we can proudly say ‘this is what we do best’

The Café was opened in 1996 providing sit in, take away and a home delivery service. Located in the centre of Airdrie Town Centre. The restaurant attracts a diverse crowd, including students from nearby colleges, the local community & businesses and travellers returning on their annual visits to Bonnie Scotland from all across the continent.

Since 1996, the people from Airdrie, Coatbridge & Surrounding areas have showed us great support, dedication and loyalty through the years. In return we have given Airdrie, Coatbridge & Surrounding areas our support & dedication from contributions to charity events, educational support and sponsorships of youth projects.

As we surpass our 19^th birthday, I have to mention a thing or two. Firstly I am proud of our reputation, that has been earned through our commitment to do providing an exquisite selection of mouth watering cuisine presented with an exceptional service element, and secondly, when your parents, partner, friends or family said they were cooking an Indian tonight, and you thought it was the best thing since sliced bread (or Nan Bread in this case), what they didn’t tell you was that they actually ordered out from us… «Sorry guys… You know who you are»
