The food is pretty mediocre — they microwave/​re-​heat most of the preprepared dishes — but they’ve got the Spanish Tapas environment almost spot on.
The drinks are better though, decent sangria and generally friendly staff.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, the ambience was great, our waitress was nice and chatty, the portions were large and the food was seriously tasty. Fantastic experience overall, I’ll definitely be back.

Not my favorite, as it is very loud and the waiters are not very polite… People mentioned food poisoning too, but personally have not experienced such a thing.

Food and prices are suitable– nothing blew me away but it was everything I would expect at a Tapas bar. The Spanish tortilla & Sangria were great!

Surprising big when you are inside, limited range of beer, bit on the dark side, atmospheric if you will, best deal sun to thurs range of about 18 tapas all you can eat for a tenner. ace

my sister makes me go here and i act like i don’t really care but I DO! I love it here!
It looks small from the outside but its actually pretty big.
The food is amazing, i love tapas anyway, getting all the little dishes is perfect for the type of person who can’t make up their mind! Drinks are also great but i’ve only ever drank the sangria — loooooove it! i cannot tell you enough how much i love the sangria.
Great atmosphere, really clean. But sometimes if there is a birthday crowd in they’re really loud and annoying.
Staff are super friendly, but the food service can be pretty slow and when you’re there in a large group they sometimes get it wrong but mistakes are made, thats life!

The staff are nice and cheerful and have to know spanish to be able to read the tills (apparently). Go mid-​week for the Tapas for a Tenner deal. All you can eat — and there is a lot to eat. As a chain, the food is hardly gourmet but you can’t really beat the fun of filling your table up with as many of those little plates as you possibly can.
The chocolate orange cheesecake is really rather tasty.

Ate here recently. as any other restaurant in the chain good value and good food. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. La Tasca is a chain of restaurants that basically all look the same inside. A greatplace for a long lunch with friends as ou don’t get hurried and there is plenty of room even when busy. Definitely worth a visit
