Established in 2006.

Good Day Charters was founded in 2006 by father and son duo Captain Stan Good and captain Dusty Good. Originally from the wine country in California the duo have over 50 years boating experience. This family owned business has been owning and operating charter boats in the Virgin Islands for over 9 years.

Wow!!! We LOVED this place!!! Dusty is amazing, gave great service and we had such a blast!!! Definitely recommend this for couples or groups who are just looking to have so much fun exploring and Dusty made our experience all the more better! Tell all your friends who go to St. Thomas about this place, we went twice in one week while we were there!

We just had the best day of our lives. Dusty (the captain) and Frida drove us all over the British Virgin Islands, they completely took care of all the paperwork for customs so we didn’t even have to think, and the boat was clean and stocked with beer, sodas, and water. I’ve rented boats all my life in the states and I’ve never had a better experience (hence the reason I’m taking the time to review, haha) but on top of it all, the price was less than most of other other charter boats on St. Thomas… And trust me, I did my research before hand! We saw sea turtles, partied at the soggy dollar bar, had an amazing lobster lunch at Sydney’s, and just cruised through the ocean with our cool captain. Couldn’t have asked for a better time cruising around the BVI!

One of the best single days we ever had on vacation!
I decided to book with Good Day Charters based on a strong recommendation from a co-​worker. I am so glad we did as it was really an incredible experience!
Captain Stan was great; very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on us having a great day. He let’s you choose where you want to go and what you want to do. He asked us some questions about what we were looking for and then used that info to explain the options on where we could go and what we would see.
Great time on a nice well maintained boat, amazing snorkeling (which included swimming with Sea Turtles and swimming into a cave), beautiful beaches and plenty of fun!
My family and I have traveled quite a bit and have been to many amazing places, so for us to unanimously agree that this was one of our best experiences ever means it really was something special!

We spent a day with Captain Stan of Good Day Charters while we were staying on St Thomas for a week. There were 6 of us traveling together and we all agreed that this was the best day of our trip and that we should have done at least one more day. Capt Stan is a great host and really tailored the day to suit us. It was awesome. We will certainly recommend Good Day Charters to our friends and will be using them again next time we are in the USVI!

My sister and I took my mom to the Virgin Islands for her 60th this September. None of us had ever been before. Without a doubt, the best day we had on our trip was on Good Day Charters with Captain Stan. It was a beautiful, exciting, and yet incredibly easy day. Captain Stan took our goals for the day to heart and told a lot of great stories about the islands. Captain Stan also had activities aboard like snorkeling equipment and aqua sofas so we could explore beneath the sea at each spot or laze above it. We saw sea turtles, quiet bays, ate a delicious lunch, and even did a little treasure hunting. No exaggeration, my face hurt at the end of the day from smiling and saying, «Woooooooooo!» so much with the wind in my face all day. I would give more stars if I could!

Summer 2010 I visited USVI for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first trip to the Caribbean and I was not disappointed. While sightseeing was fun and the general island vibe was noteworthy, the most memorable part of my experience was all thanks to Good Day Charters.
The Captain and his crew were very knowledgeable and entertaining. They really cater to what you want to get out of the trip. I was a snorkeling «virgin» and Dusty was very patient helping me to figure out how to get everything on correctly and even gave me some pointers on how to swim deeper and see all the fascinating wildlife underwater.
The staff was great at navigating the waters and getting us up close to the action… and keeping us fed and hydrated when we weren’t floating with the fishies.
When choosing a charter to have the experience of a lifetime, I can’t see any other option than Good Day Charters. I can’t wait to get back and do it all over again!
