Sinop is famous for it’s manti, but honestly, Teyzenin manti is in a whole category all it’s own. It’s the cashmere of manti. Paper thin delicate dough wrapped around tiny meat balls topped with garlic yogurt, Black Sea walnuts and melter butter. This stuff is insanely decadent and I literally think about it year round when I am away from this place. The general populace seems to agree with me as they have now grown from a tiny basement storefront to a full on modern facility. But the quality has lacked, the ladies are still rolling fresh pasta as you wait. This place is worth a trip to Sinop alone!
