We are here on our last night in Istanbul. The lentil soup was delicious as was the chicken guyek. They were nice to us despite our nonexistent Turkish. It’s not a fancy place, but was just what we needed and seemed to be popular with locals.

After almost 24 hours of travel from the US, I dropped off my suitcases, took a stroll through my new neighborhood, and ate my first meal in Turkey at Limon Kebap. The server was friendly and patient with our English and even provided a wifi password so that we could let family back home know that we had arrived safely. I wasn’t particularly fond of the kepab dish I ordered, but the bulgur was delicious. I am giving them an extra star for nostalgia.
