Mustafa Amca is a Turkish institution. He’s acted in arthouse movies (directed by Zeki Demirkubuz, badass auteur), knows everybody personally and has been the host to discussions that can fill a 100 books. (Or hard drives!)
A bit overpriced, but the «karışık tost» is worth it, and if you are feeling especially hungry, the kaşarlı sucuklu menemen (pronounced many men) is a Turkish treat.
You can also visit the very cool art studio Bitti Gitti when you’re done with your meal, it’s about 10 meters away inside the Nil İş Hanı.
