Not far from the Grand Bazaar, this shop was one of the stops on our cultural backstreets tour. This is where the locals eat and that was very obvious as we arrived at the tail end of the lunch rush to see the place quite crowded with folks who cleared out quickly to get back to work. Quite the organized chaos here with at least six or seven guys working the various stations of kebab prep including grilling, bread, veggies, spices and wrapping. Super nice folks who love the tourists. We had quite a bit to eat here including kebabs and roasted peppers(HOT!). When the eating was done, the manager/owner guy let us take a bunch of pictures and was happy for us to «ham it up» for some pictures«working» the grill. Hilarious. Great food, the kebab was tasty and the roasted pepper pretty much obliterated my tongue. It looked just like a sweet bell pepper we have in the States so it was unexpected. Yeah, it’s not that. Wooo!
