Charm Hotel

Just had some drinks here.
Roof deck restaurant has a great view of the Blue Mosque
Service was slow and they were out of several items listed on the menu

Note this is a review for the café on the roof of the Charm Hotel, not the hotel itself.
My wife and I stopped here a couple of times during our trip to Istanbul because the location was convenient and it had a great view of the sea and of the Blue Mosque.
A few things I’d keep in mind:
–Awesome view from the rooftop
–The staff is nice
–Only some of the staff speaks English
–Stick to drinks only
–Don’t get hookah here, they don’t do a brisk enough business so it isn’t prepared and they have a poor selection of flavors
–It starts getting pretty chilly in the November time frame (not surprising), but they don’t have anywhere indoors to sit so be aware before you come in
–If you have trouble climbing stairs skip it, it’s 4 solid flights up and down, no elevator
