This was a cool place to visit as we set out on our pan-Turkey road trip from Konya. It has a lot of history, but unless you have a guide(or guidebook?) it’s hard to get a sense of what it was like to stop here as a merchant undertaking a long journey. Cool place for a photographer to play with light and dark; the archways are gorgeous and all the stonework is impressive. And you’ll be able to recognize other caravanserais in Turkey if you visit them, so that’s a fun bonus. Worthwhile, overall, but no need to go out of your way for it.
