Ein wirklich cooles Restaurant, das immer sehr voll ist. Reservieren lohnt sich!
Eine coole, etwas andere Speisekarte mit toller Auswahl. Freundliche Bedienung und schönes Ambiente.
War einmal hier und werde wiederkomment, that’s for sure.

Wir waren mit freunden essen. Das essen war gut — mistkratzerli und flammkuchen hatte ich — wein schmeckte auch — preis normal für zürich — personal war freundlich — es ist ein bisschen laut

This place is located on the somewhat questionable area of the Langstrasse strip may not be the place for people to think of coming for food… but hey, get some spice in your life and come to this area, especially if you are feeling for Portuguese or Spanish but don’t want to travel outside Switzerland — this place could work for a quick substitute. It’s slow, they take their time, but the food we’ve had, not too shabby. Not only does it boast a menu with lots of meat, but it’s also certainly a seafood place, and regards seafood standards of this country (since it’s landlocked), the seafood that came with this paella was pretty good. Moist, huge portion and nicely served by the servers, it yield a good variety and portion of seafood as well as provided a decent texture and taste without being overpowering.
I’ve had much better paella in Barcelona, but hey again, we are not in Spain… so you make do. After dinner since you are in Langstrasse, there are plenty of cool bars to wash down the mega paella portion you’ve just eaten. They say the paella is to share between two, but I will argue with you and say it’s better shared with three. This is probably when the only time three is not a crowd but a good company!

Es muss nicht immer drin sein, was draufsteht: Krokodil sucht man im Krokodil auf der Speisekarte jedenfalls vergeblich. Einst eine Bierhalle ist das Krokodil heute eine gute Anlaufstelle für mediterane Küche aus Spanien und Portugal. Fisch spielt dabei die Hauptrolle: Ob Seeteufel, Seehecht oder Tintenfisch, hier darf man sich an seine letzten Ferien auf der iberischen Halbinsel erinnert fühlen. Die Spezialität des Hauses ist aber der Stockfisch (Bacalao). Was in Portugal so ziemlich in jedem Restaurant zu haben ist, gibt es in Zürich nur in einer Handvoll Orte zu geniessen, eben zum Beispiel hier.
Sollte jemandem weniger nach Meer sein, so bietet die Karte auch tolle Fleisch-​Spezialitäten. Und wenn es das Picadillo de Ternera — das Züri-​Geschnetzlet ist.
Wers nach dem Fisch– oder Fleischschmaus an der Langstrasse krachen lassen will, aber schon mit etwas Müdigkeit zu kämpfen hat, wird — wie bei jedem Spanier — mit einem Carajillo geweckt, sodass es sicher bis in die Morgenstunden reicht.
