Park Hyatt Zurich

We were three adults staying for two nights, and were very pleased with our stay at the Park Hyatt Zurich. We notified the hotel in advance of arrival that we would be arriving quite early, in hopes that they could allow us into our room in the morning, if available. The room was not ready upon arrival, but they allowed us to rest in a clean, temporary room while our room was finished being prepared! This excellent customer service was very much appreciated after a full day of travel from the US.
The staff was all very friendly, and we were treated wonderfully during the entire stay. The room and bathroom were both quite spacious and very clean. And the bathtub was very large and comfortable. Room service was very good quality and fast, and the morning breakfast buffet was quite enjoyable, with a good variety to choose from.
The hotel is in a convenient location, walking distance to Alstadt, the Limmat River, Lake Zurich, and other sites. I would stay here again when returning to Zurich and definitely recommend to others.

We stayed here last week on the tail end of our anniversary trip and we could not have ended on a better note. Everything from check in to check out was handled professionally, kindly, and efficiently.
We were upgraded to a Park Executive Suite that was amazingly spacious and beautiful with huge windows and a gigantic bathroom with a soaking tub. The crib for our 1yo was a beautiful Stokke with a stuffed animal and plenty of cute baby bath amenities. There was champagne in the room and later some chocolate covered strawberries and a platter of fresh fruit were brought up and replenished throughout our stay. The fruits on this platter were impressive from mangosteen to green guava, each piece, regardless of how ripe they looked or not tasted perfect!
We ordered room service several times and every dish was delicious. Each time we asked for directions, or had questions about our flight, restaurant reservations; our queries were always treated with care and efficiency. Every single staff was solicitous, friendly and completely professional. We would love to return to this beautiful hotel in this wonderful city. We could not recommend this hotel more. We have stayed at several Park Hyatts and stayed at 3 during this Europe trip. We consider this to be our top choice hotel and look forward to returning. I would give more stars if it were possible!

Eine einladende Lounge im Zentrum von Zürich, mit einer integrierten Hotelbar und einem Restaurant, das den Gaumenfreuden nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt — ganz ehrlich: Dort geschlafen hab ich noch nie, aber alles rundherum sieht nicht nur todchic aus, sondern ist auch ständig belebt, wenn ich jeweils dort war. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Hotel-​Lobby als Arbeitsplatz, für eine Kaffeepause oder ein Meeting. Im Restaurant hatte ich heute einen fantastischen Lunch — Kürbiscrème Suppe, Lachs auf Gemüsecurry und eine Dessert-​Variation. Da könnte ich mich definitiv dran gewöhnen! Spass beiseite. Wer sich etwas gönnen möchte, und sich gerne in luxuriöser Atmosphäre aufhält ist hier — Achtung Wortspiel! — goldrichtig.

We checked into the Park Hyatt earlier this afternoon… and after 2 weeks on the road, traveling through Europe… we were made to feel like we were home.
The receptionist who checked us in, Sophia, was very pleasant, and welcomed us to the hotel. She quickly checked us in, and offered to show us to our room. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to a Park Suite.
Room is massive, on the 5^th floor… and has a living area, bedroom, and a nice sized bathroom. Living room is appointed with Bang and Olufsung TV, and stereo system, a seating area, and a nice work desk, next to a room dividing book case. Bedroom has a very comfortable bed, another B&O TV, and a nice walk-​in closet and an area to get ready. Bathroom is also large, with a double sink, closed off shower and WC, and a nice tub highlighted in the room.
After dinner, we walked around the hotel, and the ginger bread house caught our eye. When we walked over, Sophia came by and chatted with us. Talking about tea, we mentioned that we missed home made Chai in the mornings… A little while later, when we were back in our room, Sophia sent over chai spices, tea cups and a tea pot. I had mentioned to her that i had a sore throat, and she also sent up some ginger.
Beyond everything else, this level of thought and care really makes a tremendous difference.
Hotel is great, room is nice, but the service is beyond professional. it is personal.
Looking forward to our next few days here.

White glass wall with clear glass bottles and bright light is worth visiting this bar.
Interior is modern and spacious so you can come here after work or business meeting.
Drinks are reasonably priced and quite strong so you might need just one drink :)
Menu offers some interesting cocktails at under CHF 20. Complimentary nuts are on the bar table.
Service is good!
PS: There is rumor that this is the bar where you can see Zurich hookers hanging out to look for a client… Come by. maybe it’s your lucky night to see one without going to langstrasse :)

My husband and I were returning from Barcelona to the NY area and our connecting Swiss air flight was cancelled due to technical issues.
Although Swiss air provided us with a night at the Hilton close to the airport, we chose to book a night at the Park Hyatt with the intention of checking out Zurich for a day (might as well right?).
We were warmly welcomed and luggage was assisted to immediately as soon as we stepped out of our cab.
Despite our disheveled looks and despite being the only 2 people not in suits in the lobby, we were not made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in any way.
The concierge who checked us in explained to us what we could do in such a short amount of time in Zurich by pulling out a map and circling points of interest and what would be the best route to navigate
Our deluxe king was perfectly appointed and not much of a view but it isn’t a high rise building so I don’t think there is a view in any room I’m assuming.
I thought the rain shower area was a bit strange bc it isn’t enclosed in any way but didn’t pose a problem at all.
Little luxuries such as an embedded tv in the bathroom mirror, heated towel racks, subtle night light, high quality toiletries were all appreciated.
My husband spent a couple of hours at the gym and said that although small, it sufficed, and the provision of headphones and water bottles were useful.
Were I ever to visit Zurich again I would not hesitate to stay here! Hopefully next time it will be during a warmer season. Was NOT dressed appropriately! =)

We ended up in Zurich after an awful flight that was diverted here instead of landing in Paris. The airline was going to put us on a bus to Paris… another six hours journey… we decided to stay in Zurich and then go home the next day… but we had no place to stay.
Unilocal led us here and what a wonderful experience! The hotel staff upgraded or room, they were so polite, gracious, and professional. What a wonderful stay at a very luxurious location… Thank you Park Hyatt Zurich!

The best hotel service ever! I have never been escorted to my room and shown exactly how everything works. Additionally, we arrived early and our room was not ready, they let me know where to find some coffee shops and when we came back an hour or so later they remembered my name and that I was waiting on my room. The luggage was in the room when we arrived. I happened to check out on my birthday and they gave me a nice box of chocolates —– AWESOME!

This is an outstanding hotel, in a central location near public transport, with great staff, & very nice spacious modern rooms. Their hotel bar has a non alcoholic mocktail menu which we liked as well. This is truly an expensive 5 star hotel with a hotel room you can actually enjoy & not worry about.

Amazing hotel!!! Everything about this hotel was perfect. The rooms are huge and have every amenity you could ever want. The room bathrooms are spacious and no detail was left out.
The service here is unmatched and they seem to always be over staffed which is great. Great location walking distance to everything in Zurich.
From check-​in to check-​out I have zero complaints and thank you to all the amazing staff of the Hyatt Zurich. My wife and I had a truly wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back.

Awesome hotel. The nightly rate was over $ 800 but thanks to the Hyatt Gold Passport program, our two nights were free. It’s located about a block from the lake and is walking distance to everything in the city. The tram (which is great for getting around) is also about a block away. Upon arrival, one of the front desk personnel will personally show you to your room and make sure you know how to use all of the amenities. They also bring you fresh fruit daily. Just note that if you move stuff around in the mini fridge, the sensors will automatically charge you instantly. Of course the front desk will take items off your bill that you didn’t take but were accidentally charged for. Overall a great experience in a fantastic city!

I’ve been to the bar here once before for a UCLA Anderson Alumni mixer when the dean was visiting. Fantastic atmosphere and lovely drinks and appetizers.
Last night my friend wanted to try the restaurant, and we got a table immediately without a reservation at about 9 pm. The place was filled with businessmen and birthday celebrations on a Thursday night.
As in all fancy establishments in Zurich, the staff was quite attentive and spoke very good English. I was amazed at how the girl working the coat check automatically matched everyone’s coats to their respective owners after dinner without any assistance. I wonder if she had a secret system to identify the owners of each jacket.
The bread came with a pleasant tomato paste. Our sparkling water came in a lovely glass bottle. I ordered heritage angus beef tenderloin from Canada. Grilled, 160g lady’s cut for CHF 56 with Café de Paris sauce. Cooked medium, it was quite juicy and tender. My side of hokkaido pumpkin with grilled goat cheese and pine nut honey glaze was rich and heavy and cost CHF 8.
I would say the dinner was quite lovely. We got English menus without prompting (probably because we obviously looked like foreigners). The only negative thing was that I got sick right after dinner. Not sure what the cause was though. I don’t know if it was just due to exhaustion, or if it was related to the food. My friend also had the steak, but she didn’t get sick.
My dinner cost CHF 70 without alcohol, so it would have been a nice, fancy dinner… except I got sick at the very end.

Exklusives Hotel. Personal dementsprechend leicht pikiert. In der BAR unten arbeitet eine Bedienung welche extrem unfreundlich ist! Schlafen ja gerne da sehr exklusiv frühstücken bzw. Etwas trinken zum entspannen nein aber um gesehen zu werden ja ;-)

Das Park Hyatt in Zürich ist vielleicht das beste Hotel, in dem ich je geschlafen habe.
Der Service ist überaus zuvorkommend und professionell und geht soweit, dass der Rezeptionist nach dem Einchecken kurz mit ins Zimmer kommt, um die Lichtschalter zu erklären. (Das erklären der Lichtschalter ist auch nicht ganz unnötig, weil das Lichtkonzept verwirrender ist, als man sich vorstellen kann).
Vielleicht nicht jedermann Geschmack sind die häufig in der hoteleigenen Cocktailbar anwesenden Damen des ältesten Gewerbes der Welt. Aber sie verhalten sich recht diskret und der ein oder andere Geschäftsmann mit entsprechendem Budget genießt vielleicht diesen umkomplizierten Service, gleich im Haus etwas Gesellschaft für einsame Stunden zu finden. Es tut der Bar an sich keinen wirklichen Abbruch. Die Cocktails sind phänomenal, hier bekommt man einen Martini, mit dem auch James Bond voll und ganz zufrieden wäre. Und gerade er hätte wohl auch nichts gegen die anwesenden Damen einzuwenden.
Falls ich wieder mal ein Wochenende in Zürich verbringen werde, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder in eins der wunderschönen Zimmer in diesem Hotel einchecken. Hier ist alles auf höchstem Niveau und man will nur ungern wieder abreisen. Respekt!

What a fabulous Hotel! First Class service…

War nicht zum Übernachten oder im Restarant, sondern anlässlich einer Konferenz im Park Hyatt Zürich. Die Bestuhlung war gut, das Essen lecker, der Service freundlich, die WCs ausreichend :-) und sauber…

Wir waren im Restaurant Parkhuus, eine Gesellschaft, vorreserviert. Küche, Keller, Service war hervorragend. Im Vorfeld habe ich noch andere Häuser angefragt, das Hyatt war in Bezug Flexibilität, Angebot das beste. Der Abend wurde zum Genuss für alle! Empfehle ich also für kleine Gesellschaftsessen im Räume Paradeplatz/​See und werde wieder kommen! Die Preise waren hoch, aber der ganzen Dienstleistung angebracht, darum beurteile ich gehoben und alle 5 Punkte, das ist fair. Das einzige was mir auffiel, ich hatte die ganze Zeit nie mit Schweizern zu tun, alles Ausländer!

Endlich mal wieder ein gutes Hotel in Zürich. Ausser dem Baur Au Lac waren alle Züricher Hotels bislang eine Enttäuschung.
Das Park Hyatt, obgleich zu einem US Konzern gehörig, wird dem legendären Ruf Schweizer Hotelerie gerecht. Elegantes, modernes Design, makelloser Service, grosszügige Zimmer mit Bang Olufsen TV (hab ich bislang noch in keinem Hotel gesehen).Leider kann man in den Zimmern die Fenster nicht öffnen und muss daher mit Air Condition schlafen.
Restaurant und Bar des Hyatt sind exzellent und trotzdem cool und unkompliziert.
Wie überall in Zürich sind die Preise exorbitant: Zimmer rund 600 Fränkli, Essen für zwei, ohne Wein, nur einem Hauptgang und ohne Desert unfassbare 250 Fränkli. Aber das ist eben so in der inzwischen teuersten Stadt Europas zumindest für Euro Zahler. Im Park Hyatt bekommt man wenigstens Top Leistung für sein Geld.

Das Hyatt ist einfach chic und sehr vornehm. Alles ist auf Perfektionismus ausgerichtet und das macht sich am Ende des Tages auch bezahlt. Nicht ohne Grund gehen Stars hier gern ein und aus.
Von aussen sieht fas Hyatt aus wie ein riesiger Glaswürfel und wirkt eher wie eine Bank. Wenn man dann jedoch das Haus betritt, merkt man, dass es einfach das moderene Design unterstützt.
Zudem beherbergt das Hotel auch eine der edelsten Bars in Zürich. Die Hyatt-​Bar. Die Bar ist sehr stilvoll und elegant in hellen Tönen eingerichtet. Fastzinierend finde ich vor allem die Bar an sich. Hinter dem Tresen befindet sich ein ca. 7 Meter hohes Regal. Es ist mir bis heute ein Rätsel, ob dieses nur Dekoration ist oder ob die Barmitarbeiter ab uns zu doch mal dort hochklettern müssen.
In der Hyatt-​Bar trifft sich jedenfalls nicht der Pöbel. Man sollte eventuell auch auf seine Kleidung achten und nicht gerade in Trainingshosen und Turnschuhen dort auftauchen.
Das Hyatt hat auch sein eines Restaurant. Frühstück isst man am Morgen in der gemütlichen Lobby auf Sesseln und Sofas. Das ist jedenfallls auch einmal etwas anderes.
Ich bin leider bis heute noch nicht in den Genuss gekommen eines der Zimmer von innen zu sehen, aber ich denkem, dass sie die klaren, modernen Linien durch das gesamte Haus ziehen werden.

Immer wieder gerne bin im Park Hyatt. Ich liebe das Hotel Flair, man hat immer irgendwie das Gefühl in den Ferien zu sein. Man trifft auf interessante und manchmal auch auf skurrile Menschen. Dazu gibt es ein wunderbaren Film mit Greta Garbo; Menschen im Hotel.
Zurück ins Park Hyatt. Hier herrscht so eine gewisse Eleganz, eine gewisse Ruhe. Mein Lieblingsplatz ist die Lobby /​Lounge vor dem Kamin. Da sitze ich und beobachte die Gästeschar. Da hätte jeder Hobby Psychologe seine Freude daran.
Hier wird verhandelt, gelacht, geplaudert, gedealt (wie auch immer), aber immer sehr leise und voller Contenance. Neben der Lounge hat das Park Hyatt ein weiteres Highlight zu bieten, nämlich das Restaurant Parkhuus. Der Name ist etwas seltsam und unpassend — denn die frische und saisonale Küche ist der Hammer. Das Haus beherbergt auch einen spektakulären Weinraum, den muss man gesehen haben!

Gleich vorweg, das Hyatt ist ein Luxushotel, top Lage, großzügige Zimmer mit moderner hochwertiger Einrichtung. Schöné Lobby mit Lounge alles sehr edel eingerichtet. Personal Hyatt-​Like höflich und zuvorkommend. Sehr nette Bar die allerdings Abends seht gut durch die oberen 10.000 besucht ist. Drinks auf gutem Niveau zu sehr teuren Preisen. Man kann das Preisgefüge in Zürich nicht mit dem in Deutschland vergleichen die Zimmerpreise liegen im Park Hyatt meist deutlich über 600 CHF die Nacht (!), dafür kann man in Berlin oder Köln meist schon mehrere Tage im Hyatt schlafen. Ich habe für die Übernachtung Prämienpunkte genutzt, muß ehrlich sagen egal wie toll es war, bei dem regulären Preis stimmt für mich das Preis/​Leistungsverhälltnis nicht mehr. Ansonsten top Hotel.

Im Hotel, im Restaurant und in der Bar des Park Hyatt sind die Ansprüche hoch, doch die Realität entspricht nicht immer den Ansprüchen des Managements.
Im Restaurant waren die Speisen OK und der Service war auch recht. Zusammen mit der schwachen Ambiance weckt das Ganze nicht viel Begeisterung.
Häufiger treffe ich mich mit Kollegen in der Bar. Die Bar ist zeitgemäss und fürs Auge schön eingerichtet. Auch die Aussenplätze sind gemütlich und begehrt. Das wechselhafte bei der Bar ist die Bedienung. Kaum freue ich mich, dass es klappt, so werde ich beim nächsten Mal auf den Aussenplätzen nicht gesehen und eher wie ein Störefried als wie ein Gast behandelt.
Zu Glück ist das Bar-​Team gross, sodass wir beim letzten Besuch wieder von der positiven Bedienung profitieren konnten, die (sehr angehehm) auch die feinen Nüssli ungefragt mit auftischte.

Ich hab mal einen sagen hören: «Kennst Du ein Hyatt, kennst Du sie alle.» Nun ich persönlich kenne nur das in Zürich und das reicht mir.
Meine ehemalige Chefin hat das Hyatt Restaurant zu ihrer persönlichen Küche ernannt, deshalb waren wir dort häufiger beim Abendessen. Nachdem sie gleich zu Beginn wahnsinnig feines Brot mit einer Art Peperoni Crème auftischen, war ich meist zur Vorspeise schon voll ;-)
Aber alles was danach noch reinging war für gewöhnlich wirklich schmackhaft! (Ausser… Brrr, mich schüttelst immer noch beim Gedanken daran… hier hatte ich meine erste und definitiv auch letzte Auster! Boah ist das glibbrige Zeug eklig!)
Das Ganze ist nur einfach nicht meine Welt. Sicher ist es anfangs eindrücklich und die a***kriechende Kellner sind zu Beginn auch ziemlich amüsant, aber trotzdem… Dieses ständige Bussi-​Bussi und die nichtssagenden Floskeln immer, das ist einfach zu viel.
Als meine ehemalige Chefin dann mal meine Mutter einfliegen liess, hat sie ihr dort ein Zimmer gebucht, was ja eigentlich überflüssig war, schliesslich wohne ich hier… Trotzdem, diese Chance haben wir uns nicht entgehen lassen. Die Zimmer sind gross, sauber und eindrücklich. Das King-​Size Bett war ein Traum!
Das geilste war aber mit Sicherheit das Badezimmer: Eine tolle Wasserfalldusche UND eine Badewanne fast so gross wie der Zürisee! Im Ernst, sie war zu gross für mich! Ich bin ständig unfreiwillig untergetaucht weil ich mich nicht wie gewohnt mit den Füssen hinten abstützen konnte *lach*

Also kurz und schmerzlos: wer in Zürich HYPE will, geht entweder ins Indochine, Kaufleuten, Purpur oder Saint Germain… oder, wenn’s schon früher am Nachmittag/​Abend sein soll, in die Hyatt Bar. Da treffen sich alle illustren Vögel die man entweder hasst oder ignoriert :-0
Bei schönem Wetter Spektakel garantiert, es fahren endlos Ferraris, Astons, Lamborghinis und dergleichen 3 Mal ums Haus, damit sie ja gesehen werden… :-)))
Spass bei Seite, es ist halt né In-​Bar und so soll es sein. Welt ist angesagt. War oft dort mit Biz Freunden aus Dubai, NYC, etc. gehobener Barstil à la Widder, gemixt mit super exotica in Human terms… es ist ein Show off place. Aber man kann auch dies ab und zu geniessen… die Girls hmm… skip this!
P. S. das Hotel Restaurant «Parkhuus» nextby ist mega für gegrilltes Fleisch, auch Fisch! No dissapointment ever when I went there, sei es Qualität, Zubereitung, Service. Das ist Top! (Na ja, man sieht’s auch an der Rechnung)
