Well… I have been here twice, both times celebrating some friend’s anniversary. I would say that the place is nice, the food is average(not a big choice actually), drinks are not bad but… the service. This is what happened the second time I was there: 1) We asked to the waitress to bring us the lists to start ordering, she refused to bring it becaused there were two of us arriving later, we had to insist. 2) Every time we asked for something, she answered in a very irritated way. 3) My sister had a huge dish of pork chops and potatoes, asked for the doggy bag and the waitress said that the cook would surely refuse because their boxes for take-away are too big for what was in the dish(?!?); my sister had to insist, the waitress came back with a very small plastic box and two pieces of pork chop inside. What about the side dish that was left? 4) 50 francs for 1 portion of enchiladas, one beer and one caipirinha? Way too expensive, sorry. Not worth the price.

Ok, the Mexican food is as you’d expect it to be in Switzerland. Mediocre but edible and $$$. The margarita is way too sweet. So stick with Mexican beer. If food quality is not an issue for you, go for it. :OP SO. Normally with a review like this I would give one star BUT Taco’s Bar redeems itself in my heart because the last Wednesday night of each month there is… SWISSPOWERWRESTLING. OHYEAH. Known as ‘catch in French, we are talking WWF-style wrestling with a full-on ring in the center of the bar and the classic battle between good and evil. It is just so random to see in Switzerland, I am dying laughing thinking about it even before I get in to watch the action! There’s a dude with a devil mask, a good guy with long shiny blond locks undulating with every jump from the top rope, every half– and full-nelson. It is a freaking joyous spectacle. There are metal folding chairs being bashed over apparently unsuspecting craniums. There was some dark incantation going on even, the last time I was there. Very ‘Undertaker’-esque. Tights, body blows, you name it. And these dudes are totally into it, the acting is great! ;O) Quite athletic, despite some of their physiques! The crowd is always totally into it, cheering the good guys, booing the bad guys, following the story… a great time! Thank you Taco’s!!!

Bonne nourriture mexicaine, ambiance un peu bruyante, mauvaises margaritas(les serveuses né savaient apparemment pas faire ce cocktail).
