Ohne eine Ahnung davon zu haben um was für ein Etablissement es sich handelt, haben wir das Café Salon besucht. Der Name steht vor allem für das Ambiente: Eine stylische Mischung aus Stühlen, Bildern und Deko, jedoch allesamt passend zum Flair der 20er. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist zwar nicht üppig, überzeugt aber dennoch durch seine Vielfalt an verschiedenen veganen Gerichten. Dass der Salon vegan serviert, haben wir übrigens erst im Nachhinein mitbekommen– trotz Joghurt-Dip und Kuchen. Wirklich fantastisch!

This is a lovely establishment across the Rhein. It’s run by two young women. The charm comes from its random selection of Alice in Wonderland inspired images, vintage sewing machines, board games, and other amusing paraphernalia. They serve coffee, cocktails, wine, and beer here along with an assortment of food. With their multiple seating arrangements (sofas, tables and chairs), you have many options for your group. I can testify their olives with dried chilli peppers are meaty and tasty. Those peppers sure are spicy. Don’t let the oil rub off on your fingers and then to your eyes. Ha! So cozy up to this establishment sometime.
