Vaxholm was a nice day trip from Stockholm and we really thought we would not find anything but a tourist restaurant. This was a pleasant surprise. Good food combined with a nice view. Worth walking a short distance from the dock to this restaurant.

As earlier reviewer mentioned. its open on Sunday with a good view of the public docks. Classic Swedish fare with 6 beers on tap.

This place was great! Got a recommendation from a local to come here and so glad we did. Good nautical chic atmosphere, delicious food, pretty view of the sailboat harbor, and kid-​friendly (like everything else in Sweden.) And actually open for dinner! Your dinner options in Vaxholm are bizarrely limited, but regardless this is a really solid choice.
