I love Crafoord Place! Staff was very kind and always helpful! Rooms were clean and spacious. I would recommend this hostel! Kitchen area is nice, although I would have liked an oven, there was plenty of free food to spare if you were missing something.
Only a 10 – 15 minute walk to the city centre and easily accessible by bus.
I would suggest bringing your own bed linen (sheets and pillow cases), because they do not allow sleeping bags and they charge to rent the linen. Wifi was the only problem, it kept cutting out.

Very cosy small hostel in Stockholm; the hostel is brand new, opened in September 2008. Crafoord Place is located in an enchanting residential area, full of coffee shops, typical restaurants and only a 10 minute walk from all the main attractions in Stockholm. I was lucky enough to be at Crafoord Place on a Wednesday when they took us all dancing salsa. I must say I’m not a good salsa dancer and in fact that was the first time ever for me, but it has been a great opportunity to laugh and especially to meet the other people that were in the hostel. Great chance for a solo traveler to make friends and enjoy!
