I need to start this review with a disclaimer: I’m pretty sure Sushi Bar no longer exists and has been replaced with Råsunda Sushi, so hopefully my name change request goes through, or else I’ll be reviewing the wrong place! Woops! As with most well-priced sushi places in Stockholm, I wasn’t expecting much. I knew that it would at least be edible, but I wasn’t expecting the quality that I got. I ordered sushi and dumplings because I couldn’t make my mind up. The sushi was really fresh and extremely tasty, as were the dumplings. My boyfriend ordered the bento box and loved it. I tried the yakitori and I didn’t like it so much, but I tend to think the yakitori is ‘just ok’ at all of the places I’ve had it. I really appreciated the customer service here though. The lady who served us was the sweetest, and even with a broken arm(in a cast!), she was always smiling and did her best to make us feel comfortable. It was cute and a little sad to see her coming up to our table with one plate at a time in her left hand, and setting it down before picking it up to place it in front of us just right. The presentation was also beautiful and they pay so much attention to detail. I saw one customer receive two gorgeous ‘roses’ created with salmon sashimi. With sushi places, what seems to matter most is the freshness of the fish and presentation of the dish. Not much else varies otherwise(other than creativity, but that’s a WHOLE ‘notha story!). Råsunda sushi did a damn good job at this, and kept the prices at under 100:-. I’ll be coming back!
