I am a fan of the Espresso House chain — their pastries are always very tasty and the coffee is usually okay (although I’m not a fan of the Starbucksified sugary drinks). I found myself at this location to do some work and honestly cannot understand why they chose to make the café so small. This place is always packing regardless of what time of the day it is — it is often very difficult (read: impossible) to find a table and when you do find one, you are basically sitting in someone else’s lap. In other words, not a very convenient place to get some work done as you are having your mid-​day fika. Comparing this to Starbucks which is also located in Mall of Scandinavia, the layout of Starbucks is much better and spacious.
This place gets a huge A+ in my book for their lovely carrot cake muffin. It’s heavenly and to die for. It’s one of my guilty pleasures.
This place would be a definite 4 star if it wasn’t for the way the place is designed and the lack of tables.
