The Coptic Orthodox Church in Stockholm Sweden is a cosy, wonderful small church. The smell of incense and the beautiful iconography decorating the walls help in creating the old traditional oriental feeling of a middle-eastern Christian Church. The church is open for anyone and everyone. The Coptic Church in Sweden was established in 1992 and is now a part of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Scandinavia, headed by His Grace Bishop Abakir. For anyone seeking spirituality or peace of mind, I would highly recommend the morning liturgies. Sundays are always crowded, Saturdays are so and so, but there are other liturgies scattered throughout the week. For more information, visit
