New World Hotel is great for the people working there and the hotel itself is nice for a budget hotel … but the location is absolutely horrible. There’s a shipping company right next door that has truck noise (think BEEEP BEEEP *WROOM* BEEEP *WROOOOM* BEEEP *honk* *SWEDISH MAN YELLING!* *WROOM*) and a freeway right next to it.
The windows are sort of okay for soundproofing, but on summers you’re going to want to have your windows open as there is no air conditioning throughout the hotel.
They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet down in the Wuson’s Restaurant in the mornings.
My wife and I stayed here for more than three weeks while we waited for our apartment to be ready.
