A restaurant tucked in a quiet alley that caters for all. We had the most amazing duck with roasted apples, grilled salmon with vegetable rice and even the vegetarian with us had mouth watering quinoa salad and burger.

I was here almost every night when I was in Valencia. Our Air bnb was next door and this place is heaven. They stay open as late as traffic so each night is different but each night was fantastic. Healthy food, great wine, great vibes. The owner is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life(next to my mom of course) I love the outdoor setting & free wifi!!! Lots of love from California!!! xo

We chose to go to sesame with some friends based on the reviews. It´s hard to make a choice of the many restaurants in the old city center of Valencia, there are so many! But Sesame is a good restaurant where you can have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere, without to many traffic and people coming by. The food we ordered was nice, the marinated tuna was very good, and the magret of duck was very tasty. The Indonesian chicken satay, was a bit disappointing since it was not spicy at all. The chocolate cake was average it was supposed to be with brandy, but could not taste it at all. The kind owner invited us for a limoncello, service was good! It´s worth a visit, we had spent about 20 euro p.p. including a bottle of wine, relation price-quality is good.

Nothing negative to say about this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, and spoke english(which was a plus for us), the food was delicious and it was not overpriced at all. I got the Tartare Atun & Gnioccis, both were amazing.

I’m going to be honest… I was looking for another restaurant recommended by a friend. With the way streets twist and turn in Valencia, and the fact that it was 11:30 at night(not a pretty time for an American!), I never made it to my destination. What I did find, however, was a neat little place called Sesame Café-Restaurant. One of the lures into this cozy little restaurant was the sign on the door offering conversational English, so I knew the employees would probably be comfortable with my creaky Spanish. Boy, was I right! The two ladies waiting the tables were extremely pleasant, and made me feel very welcome, although I don’t think people eat out alone very much here.(Note to self: find a dinner buddy, pronto!) I started with a glass of Spanish white wine, and the«Ensalada Inca,» a beautiful cold grain salad that reminded me of tabouleh, but with quinoa and a large serving of other fresh vegetables and cheese. My main course was«Ñoquis Vegetarianos,» which was three small oblong patties of spinach, herbs, and vegetables. These amazing flavors were served with a white sauce made from Gorgonzola cheese that complemented the vegetables perfectly. At this point, I decided that a dessert was in order, too. When asked for recommendations, the server immediately said that she always picked a white chocolate pannacotta, a dish that I have never had before. This lovely little concoction was a white custardy-moussy experience, and downright delicious. After a little coffee(and I do mean little, as in teeny-tiny deliciousness), I finished this spectacular meal with something I enjoyed three years ago: Mistela. If you ever have the chance to try this stuff, grab a shot glass and jump in! Mistela is an enriched wine made from muscat grapes here in the Valenciana area, and is the local version of the Moscatel or Muscadine wines served elsewhere. Served cold as an accompaniment to dessert or a final sipping drink to a delightful repast, Mistela is sweet but not syrupy or heavy. I have to find a source of this stuff before I leave! Overall, a superb evening and excellent repast. Definitely worth visiting! If you want a few pictures with this review(since I had to create the business, I am not able to add pix), go to
