Hotel Alexandra

Basic is the word that best describes this hotel. It is reminiscent of a yha hostel but cleaner.
With no communal areas you are confined to your room once in the hotel.
Our room had a small bathroom a small balconette a large bed with a tall giraffe in the corner. An old brown armchair and a table and two chairs. Although there is a fridge and a kettle. You do need to bring your own teabags wepaid. € 297 for 4 nights. We were able to stay longer to shower on our last day at no extra charge.
Although the receptionist Jean Pierre was very helpful at recommending restaurants they tended to be on the pricey side. tapas and cava for two € 85!
If you are okay with a basic bedsit type room then this hotel is good. If you want a little more comfort you may not be so happy.
Tips.Free wife and clean. TV in Spanish with no way of changing it.

This was a well run and very comfortable accommodation for my stay in Barcelona. When I arrived at my room it was clean and inviting, good ambiance, quality furniture and everything you would expect from a 4+ star hotel.
Definitely a good place to stay in town.

Klein aber fein trifft es. Von einem schwulen Pärchen aus Frankreich betrieben. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, schön und verfügen über alles was man (n) so braucht. Gratis WIFI, preiswert, Gay und Hetero freundlich. Zum Strand und in die Stadt max. 5min. Also sehr zentral und sauber!!!
