Good place to stop in for a quick dinner. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Spanish omelette was tasty and so was the paella, although a bit salty. Not spectacular but definitely solid.

This is a simple locals spot, very close to Plaza Major with good, simple reasonably priced food and friendly service. We ate here twice, especially memorable were their Fritura Pescado (one of our best meals in Madrid) at 16 Euros an unbelievable value and pepitos (small roasted green peppers that are not spicy). House wine is just 2.50 Euros. We sat outside by the fountain, great for people watching. It’s only a little off the beaten path but worth it.
