Hola Pizzametro

He vuelto, y lo que recordaba como algo genial resultó ser más genial que nunca. Fui con 2 amigos y pedimos un metro de pizza (nos sobró medio, pero te lo puedes llevar a casa sin problema), con 3 variedades que tenían salsa de nata en lugar de salsa de tomate… Y creo que nunca he sido tan feliz en mi vida como saboreando esa delicia. Además pedí también un rollito de jamón y queso que estaba buenísimo, y siempre me quedo con ganas de probar más cosas de la carta pero con tanta pizza no me cabe nada más ni queriendo. Estoy ya deseando volver a Granada para repetir en este paraíso, ¡y eso que terminé un viaje a Granada hace sólo 2 días!

This restaurant was recommended to me by an Italian friend as a great place for authentic Italian pizza. Now, being from NYC, I’ve had my fair share of several different styles of pizza, from «authentic» Italian to NY style thin crust to Chicago deep dish to artisanal styles. I have to say, Pizza Metro is excellent authentic Italian pizza, as well as the appetizers and deserts. A party of 4 had lunch here after a nice long tour of the wonderful Alhambra. We ordered a meter long pizza (very cool, the only place to get a meter long pizza in Spain, I believe). We were allowed to mix the toppings in different quadrants of the pizza how we wanted it. We also order a mixed appetizer dish of fried finger food, a fresh salad, and a fresh buffalo mozzarella dish. All were wonderful. The ingredients tasted very fresh and well prepared. We finished it off with some limoncello gelato, which also hit the spot. The service was great. I can’t recommend this place more. A++.
