I’m not sure if this is the exact location of which Yogen Fruz as I’m not very familiar with the area since I was just on vacation. However, my review is general. Compared to the fro-yo place I go to here in NY, I think that Yogen Fruz’s pricing and sizing is odd. It’s 4 $ for a small(1 topping), 5 $ for medium(2 toppings), and $ 6 for a large(3 toppings). The place in NY I go to you pay be weight for unlimited toppings, you don’t have to think about which topping you want to put on and pay $ 1 additional for each topping you want to add. When I went, they ran out of the flavors I was interested in like hazelnut and I had to get chocolate. Specific to the location I went to, the service was beyond slow even though there were only a few people in front of us. The yogurt was okay, I mean I’d recommend it as a chill place to hangout and get a refreshing treat but your better off going to the Ben and Jerry’s around the block, at least you get interesting flavors for that price.

Very nice respite from the heat. Very little parking. Down the road from Kasalta. Pretty decent frozen yogurt, although I wasn’t thrilled — I prefer ice cream. Nonetheless, its clean, and an approachable product. Not many fresh ingredients — peaches and berries are FROZEN — duh, they don’t grow on the island. So to say the fruit are fresh — as fresh as frozen fruit can be. It makes the«health crazed» feel good they are eating better choices, so eat on!!!

I wish we had more of these in Southern California. It was hot(as always) in Puerto Rico and this place was down the street from our place so we gave it a try. Think of Coldstones or 21 choices but for frozen yogurt. They have preset flavors to choose from, and you can either select which toppings you want or get a menu item that includes certain flavors. We got a mint chocolate chip and a piña colada. They basically get a block of frozen yogurt, your toppings, and put it into a machine to churn and mix together. Tasted great and helped cool us down a bit! In addition, the service was friendly and there’s AC inside. There’s also plenty of seating inside and out, but it does look like it gets pretty busy(go figure!).

To be clear, I prefer full-fat ice cream to the low-fat or non-fat yogurt. I tried a few samples and just couldn’t fall in love with the taste of the tart yogurt on its own. I visited with my sister-in-law and we went three times on our four day trip. On my first visit, I chose tart yogurt with strawberries and chocolate. It definitely didn’t taste like the hot fudge sundae I would have preferred but it was still yummy. I didn’t finish this cup of yogurt because I couldn’t stomach the tart yogurt paired with chocolate. On the second and third visit, I chose the tart yogurt again but with strawberries and mango. Oh my word, the fruit was so fresh and delicious. I think I preferred the flavors of the fresh fruit t the tart yogurt taste. I would recommend Yogen Fruz if you are looking for a refreshing dessert on a hot day or night.

I got coconut which was yummy– sweeter than most frozen yogurts I’ve had which was ok by me but not so ok for my BF. He got tart which he enjoyed. And my cousin got vanilla. The portions were large– I got a small and found it to be enough. My cousin got medium and shared with her BF. I enjoyed the choice if toppings. The server spoke English and Spanish which was really helpful for our group. We ate it there– there is inside and outside seating. It’s on a busy street so outside seating may not be so peaceful during the day but it certainly was at night!

I really am not a fan of this concept and all the premade yogurts. This is not self-serve. Yogurt and toppings both behind the counter. You can build your own but choices are limited and additional toppings cost $ 0.75 each rather than by weight. Two smalls with no frills and not much yogurt came out to almost $ 10.

Good frozen yogurt. Had the acai with blueberries and strawberries($ 5.59 for a medium!). The fruit was very fresh. They have Smoothies, Small: 4.50, Medium, 5.60, Large, 6.70 USensations: some custom frozen yogurt with toppings such as apple pie, chocolate almond Small: 4.49, 5.59, or Large 6.69 or Mix It with frozen yogurt and your choice of fruits. Small(with 1 fruit): 3.50 Medium(with 2 fruit): 4.60 Large(with 3 fruits): 5.70 Toppings are an additional $.75 I think it’s on the pricey side and prefer the create your own froyo concept that they have at other places.

I thought this was a good place, and their frozen yogurt is good too. I walked in, and said in Spanish to the woman at the counter«Do you speak English», and she said yes right away. Explained to me how I could order the yogurt of my choice, and whipped it up quickly. Good costumer service, and good frozen yogurt. This place is in Ocean Park. Not one of the best places to be, but after staying here for about 4 days now I can see that it is right on the line between the nice area and the bad area. Once you pass this place there is a gas station, and that is where you can see the difference, so anywhere pass that is not where a tourist should be unless they want to make a quick trip to the liquor store across the street on the corner from the gas station. Other than the area being the fine line to a rough part of town this is a nice place to visit for a frozen treat.
