Specialties
Our full day rain forest adventure will take you where just a few have dared to go. Experience El Yunque Rainforest as it’s supposed to be, away from the crowds.
Generally inaccessible to visitors and other tour operators, our side of the rainforest provides an up close and personal encounter with one of the most astonishing, wildest and least visited sites in Puerto Rico.
Our day of adventure starts early! We will pick you up from your hotel around 5:30 AM, or you may meet up with us at one of two different meeting points along the road to the rainforest.
At basecamp we provide our clients with a hearty breakfast, a detailed briefing, USCG Approved Class III life jacket, a helmet, knee pads, and gloves. Shoes are available for rental upon request.
This is not your usual hike! Once we reach the river, you will trek down river, wade through rushing waters, slide down natural chutes, jump into crystal clear ponds, rappel down canyon walls and take in the beauty of a great number of waterfalls.
At the end of your experience you may hike back up the canyon to base camp with a guide, or enjoy a complimentary van ride.
Once we are back at basecamp, you’ll get the chance to kick back and relax, enjoy local appetizers and drinks while you watch pictures and reflect on an amazing day!
Our package includes complimentary pictures/video.
History
Established in 2012.
It started out with 2 friends that enjoy wilderness and adventure looking for a cool place to hangout away from the crowds. It was never our initial intention to turn it into a business. We just wanted to take friends to this new place that we had discovered. From that, it slowly evolved into a booming business without the feel of one!

Business Owner
Ricardo has been into exploring the «off the beaten path» wild gems of Puerto Rico his whole life. A scuba divemaster by 19 and a scuba instructor by 21, the sea was his first passion, but he always keep his river gear ready to chase canyons and waterfalls inland. Slowly, he began spending more time in the river and less in salt water.
Ricardo is trained and certified in Advanced Swiftwater Rescue, Wilderness Rescue and Rope Rescue. He is also an Emergency First Responder Instructor.
