I had the croissant fruta and my husband had eggs, pancakes and bacon. All were perfect and reasonably priced. His espresso was great and my latte as well. Our server was also very helpful! We will be back! Update: came back! We had French toast with fruit and Nutella. So good but SOBIG. Could easily be shared. Husband had the Gaucho omelette and it was AMAZEBALLS. The skirt steak melts in your mouth and is so flavorful. It also comes with a side of toast or French toast. We could have just gotten that and split it. Glad we came back!

Came here on a Wednesday morning… Packed house ! Parking is tough, but there’s plenty of spaces on the side streets that are in close walking distance to the restaurant. Service: our waiter was so sweet. He referred us to bistro café’s instagram where they have specials and more food options that are not listed on the menu ! Meal: Coffee con Leche came with a bistro heart design, it’s also delicious. I ordered the Romeo Juliet which came with fresh fruit on the side. My boyfriend ordered scrambled eggs with mozzarella cheese bacon and toast. The toast was a delicious bread with olive oil and rosemary. The portions were huge one play can easily be shared between two people. Orange juice is freshly squeezed. There was so much food we ended up taking some home. Ambiance: when you first walk in there’s a deli counter to the left which I’m assuming is for takeout. There is three areas first sitting. Most tables have central air so it might be a little cold but the tables in the back are nice and warm. The decorations are really cool there’s all these colorful chalkboards with specials written all over them. There’s a booth and also tables with wooden chairs Overall the two meals 2 Coffees and 1 orange juice came to $ 38. A little pricey but well worth it!

I am from NJ and came to Puerto Rico last summer for vacation, this was definitely my to go spot. The food is amazing and prices were great. Every day I dream about this place and wish I can find something similar in the northeast. If you are in the area please visit you won’t be disappointed.

Great breakfast spot. The off the menu items are the must dos. Our waitress was amazing and beautiful may I add. She suggested some drinks and food and we followed. The mimosaritas were yum, latte yum, omelette yum. Seating looks limited but there is another small side to sit in as well. The food portions are muy grande so share lol. Great little spot that I’m so glad we tried. Thank you for great service, food, and drinks.

Order: Revoltillo Parrillio, Tostadas Francesas, and Caribbean Cherry Juice. Great meal, the Revoltillo is a mild dish for people who do not like a flavor explosion. The Tostadas are amazing! The Juice was great, do not get the typical OJ, your in the tropics, explore your options! If I lived here, I would frequent this place to explore the menu.

Delicious! The lattes are perfect the food is amazing. Went back twice and both times the waiters were friendly and helpful when deciding. The food is beautifully presented. It was very busy both times but worth the short wait. The menu is a variety of items. The portions are HUGE!

The ruiz omelette is not on the menu, but it’s awesome! The portion is quite large. We had a group of 2 and each ordered one omelette and one waffle, and neither of us finished it. The menu is in Spanish, but the waitress is so nice and explained everything in detail in English. So don’t worry if you cannot read Spanish!

Service was the slowest we have ever had in our life. Nobody came to our table for about 15 – 20 minutes and it’s only cuz we had to get someone’s attention. We felt as if you aren’t a native then you are second best in there. Their mimosas with guave were AWESOME but we were three drinks in before our food arrived. The menu is all Spanish so we had to use an app translator to get through it. LOL When we finally got our food is was mediocre at best and damn do they love their Nutella… on everything practically! When we return to Puerto Rico we will not be going back here ever again. Longest breakfast we ever… hour and a half later we finally got to be on our way. Thumbs down to Bistro Café.

Love to continue watching our Puerto Rican culinary scene evolving! This hot brunch spot takes out breakfast and typical plates to a whole new level! Start of with a nice cortadito and make your way to THESEAMAZINGOMELETTES… ELGAUCHO: churrasco, amarillo, tomato, spinach, onion mozarella cheese and feta! OSEAYUM! And another favorite ELRUIZ: chorillo, prosciutto, spinach and goat cheese! And if you can fit a mimosa tamarindo you are my hero… Stuffed is the exit strategy here! LOL!

Soooooo amazingly delicious. Best stop on my way to the airport. Very large meal, it was delicious, fresh, and the waitress was so helpful. The fruit was fresh, my omelette was hearty and loaded with meat and cheese. It would have been plenty to share. I would eat here again any time!!!

If you are looking for a resort like breakfast in a local atmosphere, look no further. This place is probably the hottest new breakfast spot in the isla verde strip. Creative dishes with ingredients like goat cheese, salmon, eggs benedict, brioche French toast, nutella, fresh fruits, natural juices and more. As you walk in, notice how they have a varista whose only job is to prepare coffees and nothing else. If you are looking for a great bfast this is definitely a grand slam! Stop reading and give it a try:)

Long wait during the weekends and they don’t take reservations(we were told the wait was 15 minutes but we waited 30). The food is delicious but the service is very, very slow. Mimosas are good, coffee is ok and the omelets are delicious. The waiters won’t accommodate your food allergies and adjust your orders(requested lettuce instead of pancakes and fruits as a side and the waiter said no), which is disappointing. Okay experience overall bc the food was good but we won’t be back because spending 2 hours on breakfast is not ok.

I came here with a friend who ordered a huge sandwich and enjoyed it very much. I only had coffee, but it was GOOD coffee. The service was awesome and the staff was very nice and kept my cup full. If I hadn’t already eaten I would’ve had to indulge because everything looked so good!

All the right ingredients: great food, big portions, mix and match combos! Eggs or omelettes with pancakes, French toast, waffles or breakfast burritos with a side of pancakes, etc. Waiter was very accommodating too, substituting ingredients as requested. The fluffy pancakes were excellent and the waffle was nice and sweet. The breakfast burrito was grilled a bit after being packed which helped it keep its shape and add a bit of smokey flavor to the wrap. There were too many options that sounded good and I wanted to try — will need to go back to sample more.

This small, local breakfast/brunch spot was the perfect start to a sunny vacation! It’s a decent size local joint. Our hotel concierge/bell hop suggested this place, so we went with his advice. It’s just under a mile from where we stayed, thus we walked it. We got there around 11am. It was hopping for the Saturday morning crowd. We were lucky and only had to wait about 20 – 25 minutes to be seated. Our young waitress was fantastic. She answered any questions(the menu was in Spanish), and gave recommendations based on our conversation. However, our decisions were based on pics from their Unilocal page(and they were decadent pics)!! I got the Cheese Omlet & Pancake platter(don’t remember the name): Scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onion and a layer of white cheese on top, two slices of thick, crispy, juicy bacon, and two pancakes with Nutella and fresh fruit next to the protein. The platting presentation, alone, was impressive! Talk about a flavor-profile explosion! Superbly executed. Everything was hot out of the kitchen. Nutella is a personal guilty pleasure, so for BREAKFAST? Yes please. Thank you! I could go on for hours about the chill ambiance and friendly atmosphere. I could blab on about the friendly helpful staff. I could ramble on about the many other dishes were gawked and drooled at, when brought out from the kitchen. Instead, I’ll encourage, no demand, you head to San Juan and try this place! Five. Stars. Firm.

This is the best food/service brunch place I’ve ever been to. Ever. I absolutely loved that they had an option to get eggs and a waffle(sour and sweet) in the same plate. I always go to brunch places and can’t decide what I want to get, but this place nailed it! And the service… Our waiter was great and went above and beyond to make us happy. We ordered two of their juices because we wanted to try something new. After the waiter told us their selection, my boyfriend and I discovered that we hadn’t tried the majority of them. We ordered two random ones, and after the waiter came back with what we ordered he brought samples of a few more that we were curious about. No wonder this place has four and a half stars. I wish they will open up a location in Chicago as well. I would be a regular there.

This place is absurd. I cannot believe how much we ate here and how much we could not stop. If anything, you must have their coffee. The designs in the foam are awesome, but that is the most tasty coffee I have ever had. This particular day we were planing on hiking, so it was easy enough to convince ourselves to eat to our heart’s content. One of us ordered a dish with Nutella-smothered pancake, and another of us had Nutella-smothered French toast. These two things did not even need the syrup because they were so good. Oh, and they were topped with«fruits.» We all had different variations of omelette. They were good, but the one that was essentially like a cheeseburger is a bit greasy. Also, when you order a side of «toasts,» be aware that these pieces of bread are as long as boats(yes, we still ate them and LOVED it). And finally, our service was superb. This café is worth a visit!

Great food and good portions for the price. We had the combination gyro. It has chicken, beef, spinach, tzatziki sauce, and like a mango salsa on them. Very filling and delicious. I also had a fabulous cup of coffee here. Best I’ve had anywhere in a long while. Highly recommend this place. We will be going back for sure. We ate here again this morning for breakfast. Can I just say yum! I had the Argentinian sausage scramble with a side of French toast with fruit and Nutella. It was so good and a ton of food! I forgot my phone so couldn’t take a pic but trust me it was beautiful. Again had 2 delicious cups of coffee. It is perfect every time and so good. We will probably eat here again tomorrow. So far this restaurant has the best value for the money. Big meals for a reasonable price. I get two meals out of one cause there is no way I can finish them. Again nothing but great things to say about this place! It rocks!

Food: — Monte Carlo: Scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese smothered with gravy with a side of french toast topped with fresh fruits(slices of bananas, kiwi, strawberries and blueberries) drizzled with Nutella and sprinkled with powdered sugar. This was delicious and filling! 5⁄5 — Waffles de Cocoa: Chocolate waffles topped with fresh fruits(slices of bananas, kiwi, strawberries and blueberries) drizzled with Nutella and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The waffle was huge. I felt like it needed some kind of sauce and more fruits. It was kind of dry. 3.5÷5 Service: Fast and friendly. The menu should include their specialties. Their specials were hand written on blank white paper, taped to the walls. It looked unprofessional. 4⁄5 Final thoughts: This was a great brunch spot. The food was good and the waiters spoke some English. Parking sucks though. We had to park around the corner which looks a little sketch.
